Have only been here for drinks. Waiter was rude and kept pushing menus on us. Shame as it was mid week and wasn’t too busy. We were expecting coffee shop rather than restaurant service. I still enjoyed my experience so more 3.5 stars out of 5

When describing the décor some may assume I went to some sort of ‘hunting’ destination this weekend — At least the Antler Chandelier, Stag Lampshade and matching wallpaper may give off that impression, when in fact I visited Stag Coffee.
Serving Teapigs Tea, Milkshakes, Breakfasts, Burgers, Hand Crafted Sandwiches AND homemade Cakes — there isn’t a lot you can’t love from this little independent coffee shop located on Crwys road.
I tried the Scrambled Eggs with Chorizo and (doorstop white) toast with a caramel latte, whereas my significant other (who clearly wore his expandable trousers) ordered a large full breakfast aptly named ‘The Stag’ with a caramel latte AND a Mint Chocolate Chip Milkshake.
Pause to reflect on the instant food envy I had.
*Despite my eggs being delicious!
I would highly recommend you visit Stag Coffee yet make sure you arrive a little before you stomach starts rumbling as it’s only small you may have to wait a while for a table.
