The Dalchini is much better than the outside would suggest for dining in, they currently run a online voucher system, register and receive a 15% takeaway discount and a 20% dining in discount. The food has some great subtle flavouring.
The price for most meals is fantastic, a typical meal could easily come under £10 and they have a £7.95, 4 course meal deal which is unbeatable.

I went here for a mate-date with one of my housemates and we had a fantastic time. We went in on the off-chance that they might have seats available, which they did. We were shown to our seats by a friendly waiter and settled in for a long night of laughter.
Our food was just lovely, though perhaps not quite so good as some of the other restaurants around here, and we were well attended to.
The restaurant itself is nicer than its outside suggests it be, so I’m glad we took the plunge and went for it. It reamined fairly empty for most of the evening so I hope that was just because it was midweek, and not because it’s normally empty. It’s too good a little gem to lose.

I have not eaten in the restaurant but this is the best take away Indian in Cardiff. Reasonably priced and they deliver if you are close by. The tandori king prawn is better than any other i’ve tried. Be warned on the weekend there is a 45 minute wait so get your order in well before you want to eat.
