The Fishmonger

Okay, so if you want to just go straight through the opening archway of the arcade to get one of the other stalls within, then you will have to hold your nose pretty tight. There is A LOT of fish to walk past.
However, that just means that there’s a really good selection of fish. I, obviously, don’t eat fish. But I went to buy some the other day because I was trying to make a meal for my boyfriend, who loves seafood. (Incidentally, it didn’t go well — but it’s the thought that counts, right? He helped and it was all good in the end!)
But the fishmonger man was very helpful, especially when I explained that I had no clue what I was doing. I personally wouldn’t go back, just because I think I’ve proved to myself that I’m not a fish cook. But the experience was very good (after I got over the disgust at seeing all the fish faces staring at me) with regards to customer service and quality.
