Another fantastic place, lucky with the sun, so we sat outside, which is one of the best gardens I have been in. Faultless in every way, the staff were very plesant and happy. the drinks were spot on. And the food was of tiptop quality, Roasted partridge was fantastic! Looking forward to returning very soon.

I know it’s going to take you by surprise, but, this being Britain after all, there are a heap of pubs in most directions when you travel out of Cardiff. This is one of them.
You’ll find this little gem on the road to Cowbridge, heading out of Cardiff from Culverhouse Cross. You’ve probably already driven past it a half dozen times. Well, I urge you to go inside! Oh, go on.
This is a great traditional pub with on site parking (that really makes a difference, trust me) and is all too easy to find. I won’t bore you all with a description of what you might find in a traditional pub, for that would be insulting your intelligence. Instead I shall simply reiterate that here you will find a warm welcome, great food and well priced drinks.
A lovely place to find yourself heading towards on an evening in the summer. Now that the nice weather is rolling in across the Atlantic, pubs outside the city at the place to be!
