The Works has a random selection of items to say the least. Everything in there seem interesting but I never end up buying anything because it all seems like stuff that other stores couldn’t sell.

A reasonably good and interesting selection of books nicely laid out. Its nice to have a choice of books that aren’t currently in the chart and there are always books in there that I hadn’t even heard of! I particularily like their selection of cookbooks and they’ve recently added the lovely Gino D’Accampo to the selection! Fantastic! The store is always nice and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful. The works offer good value for money.

This is a great place to shop for books, stationery, cards, and christmas gifts. New ideas come out weekly. Get 80% off kids’ bestsellers. The DIY lovers are not left out too. There’s plenty of crafts works, offers like 3 for £5 gifts too.

This is a lovely shop for books calenders stationery etc the prices here are usually really good. The shop itself is a good size great place to pick up xmas presents for children because they have a good range of childrens books at great prices.

The Works is a fantastic little shop and so great for bargain books and toys. I don’t find the branch in Carmarthen as good as the other local ones however as the week day staff are miserable.

I love the works shops, they stock a lovely range of books for all ages all at reasonable prices. They also stock stationary and lots of little bits and bobs suitable as gifts or stocking fillers.
My favorites are the range of childrens books, they are bright and colourful and all at reasonable prices. I recommend shopping here before other book shops as you may get what you wanted at a cheaper price. I bought a pack of Sharpie pens here recently for a £1 and later saw they in WH Smith for £4.99

This is such a great shop for loads of bargains on books, DVDs, greetings cards, stationery, gifts and art supplies. There are always different things and it’s a wonderful place to find Christmas (and other!) presents. Today I bought 3-​disc DVD box sets for £4.99 each (Ancient Egypt and History of the Royal Navy) and some really beautiful and illustrated poetry books at only £1.99 each!
