I was really looking forward to a nice ruby dinner during this London trip. A friend booked this place as it was currently the«popular» spot. The décor was beautiful, very friendly staff, and fast service. However, I was disappointed with our food. All the dishes we ordered — bhuna, korma tasted very similar. Food came out less than hot, like it has been sitting in the kitchen for a while. Although, I do believe in second chances so I might return and give this place another try. The place was buzzing, maybe we just didn’t order the right dishes.

After craving a curry for nearly a month, I went to Saregama on a whim, with my family and boy-o-boy was it worth the wait. Without looking like much from the outside, this small independent Indian restaurant is usually packed with regulars that just keep coming back! If you’re planning to go at the weekend, I would definitely book! Despite the influx of people coming and going, the waiters are extremely attentive and friendly with it — something that I often find lacking in Indian restaurants. The food is delicious and has generous portions, with real coconut running through the Korma and an unbeatable blend of spices in the roghan! The drinks list is very reasonably priced and just in case we hadn’t had enough food and drink to last us a week, we were given a complementary shot of Baileys for the girls, and port for the boys! A really great evening, with delicious food, drinks and welcoming service — what more could a girl ask for?

Lovely indian food in a modern restaurant. Quite large inside. They were happy and able to cater for one of our party who is Coeliac(Gluten free). Served our food quickly. Polite and friendly waitors.
