I was over in Tarvin briefly and was told nothing but good things about this chip place, so I had to go and investigate. I wasn’t disappointed! The place was jammers but the staff was very efficient and friendly. They’re well used to this it seems!
excellent value for money too. The best part was their chicken nuggets. Actual chicken breast pieces!
I tried the chips (small portion of chips but wow, it was a big portion!) covered in mayo and cheese as well as the ¼ pounder with cheese, relish and onions. Really tasty.
So if you find yourself passing through a small village in Chester called Tarvin, drop into King Loui’s ;)

Called into King Loui, s tonight as was working and had an attack of the munchies. Just have to say for a Take away how pleased I was to see happy smiling staff. Place was pretty busy but I only waited 5 min, s to get what I wanted. Which was chicken & chips best I had for a long time fresh chicken cooked well with good old fashion chips (you Know the thick ones) not those skinny looking fries. Very tasty the real plus side to it all was the great service and with a bottle of pop cost less than a fiver. Well done to all at King Loui’s

This is the best chip shop for miles. You can tell because there’s always a queue outside. I’ve never managed to try the chinese food that they server, as I always end having F & C.
Really good value with courteous and efficient staff. They take cards as well, which is really convenient considering there is no cash machine in Tarvin.
