The Bluebell is an expensive, but lovely little restaurant tucked away in Chigwell. I tried to not let my then-girlfriend know that eating here might be a bit expensive for me. Although I think she got the clue when I insistenly repeated«Are you sure you don’t fancy Mcdonalds?». The Bluebell was worth it. It’s a bit like The Ivy, but a more local place. It’s small and has the feeling of a little cottage place. They serve traditional British meals; but they’re rather perfect in their execution of cooking the meals. Not a lot to say here as the food was all top notch and I have very little to complain about. Damnit, I prefer complaining!
