Booth’s I’ll give 5 stars although not my favorite store. A little pricey for me, but I do nip in for the bits and bobs when I ‘m in town and don’t want a trip to my usual store. I will say this. although a little pricey the food does seem to be good quality. And if you want quality then prices will refect that. My biggest hate of the store is their fresh bread. On the side shelfs they sell alot of fresh uncut loafs unwrapped. You pick a paper bag and put the loaf or sticks in the bag yourself. You never know how many people have squeezed the loaf and moved on, or how many people have sneezed on it. No unwrapped bread or rolls for me thanks. My usual Supermarket wrapped fresh loaves.

I have always found that Booths offer very good quality local produce(wherever possible) at very reasonable prices. The way we look at it is we would rather buy less, but have better quality and choice for the same money. However with their really well chosen special deals usually means we will shop here over the likes of the ‘big 4′. Supporting local business and suppliers mean a lot to us rather than lining the multi-billion pound Tesco etc… Excellent choice and prices on wine and real ales. Well done Booths!

Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Booths specialises in up market groceries and has a very stocked off sales department for good quality wines and obscure spirits. There is a first rate bakery and delicatessen section also. If you use the large public car park facing the store you can have 50p deducted from you shopping bill when producing the voucher attached to you parking display ticket.

I shop at Booths in Chorley almost every day. Some say it is a bit expensive but you can always guarantee good quality food, wine and service: o)
