Contemporary restaurant set in an traditional whitewashed stone inn. Quite high priced £6 a starter, £18 for a main dish. There is a small conservatory where you can have a drink and choose your meal. The restaurant tables are well spaced out in two stone floored rooms. Service on arrival is attentive. The menu is reasonably varied but some people might struggle to choose. There were no vegeterian options but it turned out there was a separate menu we needed to ask for. There is no childrens menu but they say they will simplify dishes for children. The service while dining was good but considering how few tables there were it should have been better especially for the price. Requests had to be repeated a couple of times. Food was good but portions were small and lacked some flavour. OK but can’t say I would recommend it.
