You could miss this place as you drive past the Atlantic chippy and the convenience store at the other side, but it’s a local, family run, gem.
The shop is set back from the road and looking at the outside, it doesn’t look like much and the inside is pretty basic, but you shouldn’t judge a take away from it’s façade .
The staff are always friendly, the food is fresh and the menu is pretty much what you’d expect, but with a wide choice of take away options in the area, there’s a reason that this place has lasted over the years and that’s because what it lacks in glamour it makes up in other ways.
I have noticed on our visit that they have started doing a few meal packages recently, which appear to be aimed at the local market and in line with other local take always, not to my tastes, but I don’t like to judge.
Personally it’s one of our local «go to» places when we want a takeaway because it’s consistent and we know that if do want a change they would be glad to make a recommendation.
