A nice, friendly pub close to the station that’s a welcome site for thirsty travellers. Both quaint and modern, and not too expensive either with a good selection of beers and friendly staff. It’s a testament to this place that we were planning on getting an earlier train but decided to hold off so we could have another pint in this place.

Decent classic British pub, with a good selection of real ales at fair prices. The regulars are not the worlds most friendly bunch, but ae never looking for trouble. The toilets are often a bit stinky, nd for this reason I’ve never eaten there. Decent beer garden and parking.
