Again another rustic exterior of a pub. The interior with its low ceiling allows for a full atmosphere yet sometimes musty.
Prices are alright in here and with its pound shots and occasional leniency in the past (maybe not now), this is normally where the youngsters gather for a drink.
Has a medium-​sized patio/​smoking area at the back and is within walking distance of all the other main pubs in Congleton down the high street.
During the summer, it’s upstairs balcony is a good place to enjoy a summer pint.

An average pub — typical customers you’d find in any pub in Congleton (not a family pub atmosphere)
The atmosphere however can be very lively especially when they hold theme nights are advertise offers like £1 per pint punters roll in from everywhere.
Inside is fairly modernised but decorated to give it an older feel. The staff can sometimes be friendly yet sometimes you find yourself being served by a complete letch.
Drinks can be fairly cheap compared to other pubs in the town. There is plenty of seating on an average night however when an event takes place you are lucky if you can get through the doorway. Otherwise during the day its pretty much dead.
