So… I am wondering if this place recently changed ownership? I looked up photos and read amazing reviews about this place before I went, but I didn’t experience anything that I had expected.
The «cake fridge» only had a few flavours and they were square slices of cakes, not triangle cut from a large cake. Who knows how long ago they were made?!
I only saw one menu on the counter and maybe I missed the section which showed waffles and the likes?
Also, there was a pop up area outside of the shop making savoury lunch menu items that had nothing to do with dessert. Plus while I was there, their power went out because they had so many lead lines going out to the fryers system out front.
Honestly I was really put off by the whole oredeal and just ordered a scoop of ice cream and left; it tasted really good though.
So I feel bad giving a low star review, but having gone out of my way to get there, I was by no means «wowed» enough to leave anything higher.
