nandos is just ok to me, i never eat the really spicy version but i find the lemon and herb just plain and the pittas always really dry. could be better. good location for this nandos though, close to centre

I’ve only been once, but won’t be going again, the staff were very slow, it took 20 minutes for someone to take our order and when asked if they had any chicken that was mild they gave 2 options, lemon chicken and i don’t recall the name of the other, but as I don’t like lemon I opted for the other and after it had finally been served I took a bite and needed a drink straight away, had they said they didn’t have mild chicken (because they don’t) we would’ve gone elsewhere.
For dessert I ordered a chocolate mousse and as this was over £2 I expected quite a lot, but they brought out a medium-​sized ramekin half full and it was disgusting.
The staff were fairly pleasant, but didn’t go out of their way to do their job.

I love this place firstly because they serve halal chicken which caters for the local muslim community and brings in a lot of custom. The staff are friendly and the service is very quick and efficient and the food tastes delicious. the location is ideally in the city centre and near everything! i know people from birmingham that come all the way to coventry just to eat here!

A firm favourite just for the food. I work for the NHS and get 20% discount too, which is always a bonus.
I don’t even eat chicken, but their veggie pitta is to die for, and the cheesecake, even though it comes ready made in a little tub, is lush.
Easily accessible venue 30 seconds from where I work in the town centre. A new Nandos, so very nice inside. Toilets a re a high standard. I like th taps that you can use in the middle of the restaurant — handy if you are eating some very messy chicken!
Always seems to be busy when I go there. I have never had any problems with staff, and the food always arrives pretty quickly, although if there is a large party some of you will have finished before others get served.
Good venue for all the family and they do some good childrens meals too.

Menu is brilliant, chicken all the way! But this particular Nandos is probably one of the worst I have been to. The service isnt brilliant, and dont try and go in a large group as they seem to panic and not know what to do when your party has more than 5! They also dont speak english, so trying to understand the staff or get them to understand you is difficult.

Great chicken here but if you don’t like chicken its probably not worth the visit. Food is lovely and pretty reasonable price. Can get busy in here but they seem to serve pretty quick and get tables cleared in no time. Handy location right in the city centre so good spot for a weekday lunch.

Nandos chicken is the same wherever you go in my opinion (very nice!) so I’ll talk about the place itself. When I arrived there was a queue of people waiting to ask for a table and a huge queue of people waiting to order (Saturday night) so I was shocked when we got a table for 7 immediately.
It’s like a tardis, it’s much bigger on the inside, and is a safe bet for a place to eat at the last minute and not having to worry that half the place is booked out as they don’t take bookings and the turnaround of people is pretty fast.
Service was surprisingly efficient given the size of the place so no complaints there.
Our only problem was noise; with no soft furnishings to speak of and a tiled floor, the sounds reverberated quite a bit making it difficult to speak to people more than 2 seats away.

Nandos is a brilliant restaurant. There is a real family vibe in there. The actual interior design is really relevant and looks great. The food isnt that bad. I think you have to have an aquired taste. Most of the meals are chicken but there are vegetarian meals. With each meal you can choose how hot you would like it. it goes from plain and lime and lemon to ultrahot. I would recommend you to go there.

I absolutely love Nando’s and it’s by far my favourite place to eat in Coventry. It offers lovely food at very reasonable prices. They have lovely chicken dishes with a topping on each chicken to satisfy everyones taste buds, ranging from lemon and herb to extra hot, it’s a good variety for everyone. Also the unlimited refil on soft drinks is a great incentive!

Nandos Coventry offer a quality dining experience at just over fast food prices. It’s a great place to go with a large group of people as although its not a place where you can book there are plenty of tables in the large restaurant and conservatory and the turn around is very fast so you don’t have to wait for long. Another reason why its so great for large groups is that you can pay separately and before your meal which is great because a) its stops any awkward I only had a glass of water and you had wine moments when the bill comes in which can be excruciating if like me you are a split the bill and take it kinda person and b) if you are in a mixed family party, anyone who wants to stay on and have coffee and a chat can do so, where as those with older relatives or fractious children are welcome to leave whenever they are ready and not have the dreaded 20 minute wait for the bill. Perfecto!

Nanado’s is Chicken but good chicken. I guess Nando’s doesn’t really need mich explaining but it is quick simple food and most of it can be spicey! Bless that Piri Piri!
They do a good range of started and sides to acompany any chicken dish you have, They have vegie options too!
They also do a bottomless pop which is cool
This branch has a great location.
