White Horse Inn

We rang ahead to check if a table was free and as luck would have it there was. After trying two restaurants on a Sunday afternoon and being absolutely starving marvin we were pleased.
The interior is light and modern and the restaurant area is welcoming. We were seated at our table speedily and the specials menu and normal food menu were given to us. There are plenty of options and after some deliberation I plumped for the Moroccan style cous cous, chicken skewers and salad with homemade Tzatziki sauce. My partner decided to have the chicken and leek pie with creamy mash.
Our food arrived after about 20 minutes and I must say we were a bit disappointed. My chicken skewers were a bit dry so good job there was a sauce.
Overall the food was average and the presentation poor.
The plus points is that the staff were friendly and attentive, the décor light and modern, they have special offers during the week, and there is ample car parking it’s just a shame that their food lets them down a bit. Must do better guys! And for a Sunday afternoon the restaurant wasn’t that busy so you are guaranteed a seat.

Great service here, nothing is too much trouble. The pub has been reurbished and looks great, with a fab sun terrace outside and an extensive restaurant area, and cosy bar.
Excellent range of drinks and a superb menu, pastas, fish, meats, salads and specials, they’ve got it all covered. Yet to have a less than great experience here.

Nice and relaxing pub with really friendly service and a pretty good range of food on offer, including a nice selection for the kids. Clearly a lot of regulars here and i suppose would be if i lived a bit closer. Great stuff.

A really nice place to drink eat and chill out of an evening. No loud music blaring out. Friendly staff and customers. A «grown up» pub. Keep it up
