From a distance this shop doesn’t look like a charity shop at all. Ignoring the hoarding it would be easy to believe that it is another specialist clothing and gift store in the affluent town of Cowbridge. All credit to the people who arrange the displays in the windows and within the shop itself… they do a great job! i often used to shop here when I lived in St Hilary. I have picked up many an invaluable bargain, including an old Le Creuset oven dish with lid which I bought for well under a tenner, and a woolen Geiger jacket for about £15.00.(I bought one new once and it cost me £350!!!) I prefer to buy things from the British Red Cross wherever possible. They do the most amazing work in war torn areas around the world, and are led by such compassionate values that I totally trust their mission!
