Cradley Heath and Old Hill have A LOT of fish and chip shops. It is really difficult to find new-​fangled trendy things like sushi or houmous. But that’s a good thing! Fat equals flavour!
Sea Waves Fish Bar is probably my favourite chip shop in these parts. The chips are nice and crispy, the fish is great but it is the doner kebabs that are incredible.
I can’t even attempt to intellectualise or rationalise this, there’s just something magical about the way Sea Ways combine cheap sheep off-​cuts, lettuce, pitta and mint sauce.
The service is speedy and with a smile. The prices are reasonable. Oh, and did I mention? The kebabs are incredible.
