Interparcel

My personal mobile phone was posted to me in Turkey a month ago, it didnt arrive as it considered an import not my personal property so I requested it be sent back to the UK. I have been in UK 3 weeks and still not received it. A complete mess from beginning to now (not the end as I havent got it yet.) After several conversations with Interparcel who seemed completely unsympathetic to the whole situation, I found I had to pay another £78.40 to get it sent back. I had no choice but to pay. I waited a week and checked the tracker, still in Istanbul. I rang Interparcel again, this time talked to Louana who was very helpful. She contacted UPS, the courier who promised to sort it. I gave it a couple of days and checked the tracker to find it said «this parcel has been abandoned by sender and receiver». Louana got on the case for me again and the promise is it will be returned sometime soon. So I have paid over £110 for the privilege of losing my mobile phone for over a month. My friends and work colleagues are all bemused as to why I have dissapeared off the face of the earth. When I explain the saga to them, (you are reading the short version) they are as exhasperated as me, what a mess. I promise to never let Interparcel or UPS do this to me again…
