Évaluation du lieu : 4 Staines-upon-Thames, United Kingdom
Mr CuteBadger and I recently spent 4 nights here and would highly recommend it. The Inn is out in the beautiful Devon countryside so is peaceful. As well as the accommodation there’s a great pub and a couple of different options for eating. The double room we had was on the small side I must admit, but it contained everything we needed and was very clean and tidy. We had an en suite toilet and shower which was kept spotless throughout our stay. The room had a TV and tea and coffee-making facilities(including bottled water and a good supply of biscuits which was replenished every day). The pub is lovely, with thick stone walls and an open fire. There’s no TV or jukebox for those of us who like things relaxed and peaceful. The whole place is family run and it really shows(though there are other staff there too at other times) — everyone was really friendly. The food was great and after the first night we learned not to have a starter as we simply couldn’t finish one and then have a main course — this is very unusual for us as we’re a pair of fat, greedy Badgers! There was a great range of choices and plenty of options for vegetarians. Breakfast was equally good with lots of choice, including kippers and eggs boiled to your specified time, apart from the usual full English. Prices, for accommodation, drinks and meals, were all reasonable so give it a go if you’re in the area.
