We went here the food was delicious the staff was polite and it was very well laid it had a really nice atmosphere definetly going there again 10\10

this place is really nice inside and out. the style of the place is a modern yet traditional pub and it has a good choice of wines and beers and at a reasonable price too. they have a nice outside space to enjoy in the summer which is lovely although the view does leave a little to be desired as it overlooks the fast new road from crewe to weston and on the other side is the travel lodge and halls of residence for the MMU.
inside there are plenty of places to sit with a separate area for the restaurant bit (although you can eat in the pub too if you so wished). the menu has a good choice on it and as far as pubs in the area go is ok value wise. but the quality is really only mediocre unfortunately. i would love it to be really fresh and with the best produce and i havent had a directly bad experience here but the food seems to be a bit processed and a tad bland. i recently came here with a party of 3 other people and all of us had 2 courses. i think about 60% were absolutely fine meals but the others were just a bit plain and didnt seem worth the money.
overall this pub is a middle-​of-​the-​road kind of place for food. but if you are coming here for a drink or a meeting with friends or as a stop-​off before heading elsewhere then its in a great location and has a pretty nice atmosphere.
