On a lazy summers evening, a walk along cromer seafront and then on to the pier for a drink is my idea of heaven! It also has a lovely appeal all year round, with the pier show and the bar, restaurant and shop. During the summer it is busy with children crabbing and people fishing. It is well worth a visit!

A pretty nice pier. On this pier there are shops, cafes, pubs and even a small Theatre. The piers is a nice size to walk along without getting to tired. At the end of the pier is a RNLI station. On this pier you can buy food, drinks, gifts, craft things and more. If your ever in Cromer I recommend the pier.

Cromer Pier is one of the better preserved piers in England and gives you an opportunity to see the beach and sea from a completely new vantage point. It is quite a short distance to walk so ok if it is a windy day, and refreshments if you need them. The RNLI station at the end is well worth a visit to read about previous rescues and see the most fantastic rescue boat close up on it’s exit ramp. The gift shop is good and supports the RNLI charity with all sorts of souvenir items from calendars to t shirts. The pier looks in good repair and hopefully will withstand what the sea throws at it for a long time to come.

Sadly a lot of piers are slowly falling into the sea, so its great to see Cromer pier in such good shape. Consistently busy in summer with kids crabbing off the deck and fishermen dangling bait from the end, its a great reminder of the towns glorious past. And in fact its glorious present, because it’s a fine place to visit, with a lot of lovely art and craft shops, places to get icecream. And pubs. The beach is ace around the pier too, it even has a surf school where you can learn to hang 10 on a two foot swell. Whatever that means If you’re around cromer in the evening and want a 70s flashback, end of the pier shows still take place every season.

Cromer Pier is a great place to be. It’s the home of the Lifeboat, and The Theatre which has a bar and café attached to it. It is a popular fishing spot, and ‘crabbing’ is a favourite activity for summer visitors. There is plenty of seating throughout and at the entrance there are toilets, a restaurant, a gift shop and ticket office.
