Pub‘s just re‘opened 12÷8÷11, called in just for curiosity, glad we did! had roast on sunday. perfect! all fresh and home cooked, beer was good too.
The landlord and landlady were very pleasant as were the staff !!
as the changes are for the better we‘ll definately be back.

Sad to say this pub has recently changed hands and not for the better. We have tried both the Sunday lunch and an evening meal with the same result very poor indeed. Landlord can’t be even be bothered to say Good Night and thankyou, but just stands there doing nothing. There are plenty of good food and drink establishments in the area but this is certainly not one of them avoid at all costs

«The prices are good. I only wish I still lived 5 minutes walk away from this pub! The atmosphere is good and the people are very friendly Well worth a look if you fancy trying something unusual Pros: This is probably the best know pub in north norfolk

Very disappointed with the landlords attitude. Despite a large sign outside the pub stating families and children welcome, the extremely rude landlord made it quite clear that our 11 year old son was not welcome in the dining room. When asked why this was, we were told that children cost him too much money! Definately NOT to be recommended.
We ended up at the Dunstable Arms in Sheringham where the staff and food could not have been better.
