Marks & Spencer

Good olé M & S. This branch has been there forever.
Access either from the high street or Whitgift shopping centre.
Tthe usual womens, kids mens, home wear, food and a restaurant area also spread across 3 floors so actually a rather big Marks.
Can get busy in here as a very British fav. shop. Assistants are generally polite and very helpful.
Bra fitting = best to get an appointment though as always pretty busy especially at the weekends. Can do order and collect there to save time.
Christmas eve morning opens very early but be aware regardless of how early, it will always be busy at that time.

You would not think it if you saw Marks & Spencers from the outside that it is actually huge inside. There is an entrance from inside Whitgift Centre as well as on North End.
I wandered into to the store to be amazed at the sheer size of the store and I loved every bit of it. I am not even a Marks & Spencer fan but that store made me one. There is an escalator inside the store to take you to the food department and they have more than enough clothes in the store for the entire Croydon.
The store always have people buzzing around on all floors which can be quite comforting but not so much that you feel crowded. The staff is quite helpful and wanted to help me wherever in the store I found myself. The customer service definitely made me feel welcome and for that, I like going back there to see what’s new.
The store entrance is not far from any tram stop and West Croydon Bus station is just around the corner so you don’t have to carry your heavy bags too far.
