Green Spice

Food bland and overpriced.
Plenty of better «sit down» restaurants in nearby Dartford.

I like Indian food, a lot. Therefore I eat a lot of Indian food and have tried many places. My friend has just moved to the area and drives past this place all the time. So last night we decided to try it. It was clean, food was hot and order correct. But I just didn’t like the place much. I found the food a bit bland and I’m always weary of a place that serves your food 5 minutes after you’ve ordered. I also found it very strange how the waiter only addressed my friend and not me. Even to the point that when he came over and I asked for a coke he took no notice until my friend asked for it. Then he stood by the bar watching her. It made us both uncomfortable. If you want a quick curry but nothing special, then you could do worse than here.

This place is phenomenal! Every time that I’m in London visiting my boyfriend’s family, we always make the trip to Green Spice. Fabulous for large groups of people, they’ve never made a mistake with our orders and are on top of everyone. The food is DELICIOUS! I’d never had Indian before my first Green Spice experience a couple years ago and now my standards are incredibly high. The onion bhaji is a great starter and I love the chicken mahkani. My boyfriend always gets the King Prawn Korma and I love stealing bites. I’ve tried a little bit of everything since we go with a group of 10+ normally and have never been disappointed. Delicious!

I have been to this Indian restaurant several times and would always go back to the Green Spice. There is enough parking at the front of the restaurant. Inside the Green Spice they have gone for a modern look. Which set it of nice. There are fish tanks in the back wall which makes the place feel relaxing and calming. They have a lot of staff working there, and they do a great job. The staff are very polite and attentive. The food is more of a traditional style which i prefer. All the dishes are very well priced and you get a lot of food for your money. Each dish is huge. All the food is perfect and tastes great. If you are going later in the evening you should always book as the Green Spice gets very busy. The Green Spice have won numerous awards.
