Showcase Cinemas Bluewater

I love this cinema. Has many screens even 3d and imax screens. all seats big red and comfortable. You can buy many food items before entering cinema from Ben and Jerry’s, pick a mix, popcorn, hotdogs, etc. They even have gallery tickets which has its own bar area where you will get some snacks included in your price and a tea/​coffee. Also in the gallery you get a sofa type seat at back of cinema. there promotions of upcoming films are good as well at present they have a plastic snoopy and Peanut the boy sitting in seats which you can sit amongst them which is promoting snoopy movie. You can also pick up free movie postcards. Only one downfall would be the staff sometimes I feel they need more on the counters but they are friendly and helpful the staff that they do have.

We are very lucky not to live too far from Bluewater for Showcase Cinemas, they have 12 screens and includes an IMAX screen, with usual 3D showings and Normal screenings and the sound and picture quality is as always fantastic! every screen I have visited over the years the cinemas are always very clean and tidy, the foyer always has many promotional advertising items to promote future films (see my pics) drinks, popcorn and Doritos along with Chocolates are also available to purchase before the films. I am only giving this 4 Stars as I think that there always seem to not be enough staff serving the customers and the queues always seem long unless you have pre-​booked online and you can retrieve your tickets from a terminal on the wall with your credit card.

So, I found a hidden gem in a rammed shopping centre… At the rear right hand see of the cinema there is a little showcase café that has its own dedicated seating area… If you’re stuck for somewhere to rest when you’re at blue water then it’s pretty much a given that there will be seats here!
All you have to do is but a tea or coffee for £1.80 and you can stay there for as long as you like. I’ve often used this as a meeting spot for friends because it’s small and easy to find.

This cinema is BRILLIANT. As it’s in Bluewater, you can go for dinner in one of the many restaurants or bars beforehand, grab a snack for the showing and take in a later screening, no problem. It’s always clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and they have pretty much everything.
Parking is free in Bluewater, it’s easy to get to and they also have a special area upstairs where, if you pay £20 a person or so, you can get unlimited hot drinks, free nachos, muffins, Celebrations chocolates, a choice of alcohol to purchase and a sofa instead of the normal seats — ideal for date night.
This place is amazing, go if you’re in the area!

I love this cinema! I love driving 15 minutes to get here, parking the car for free, picking up a sandwich for when the film starts, then buying a £4 ticket anytime Monday or Tuesdays for any film. Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve never been in a bad screen. Its always clean, and in the day its never busy so you normally have your pick of seat. Overall, I visit here at least once every two weeks and will continue to do so.

The Cinema is actually located inside Bluewater, so parking is not a problem and its free, seats are purchased on line or purchased from counter, where they will issue you a seat numbers (yep, you do not have a choice on which seat you are sitting on, could be an issue if they seat you in the front!).
It is pricey, but for a nice night out with your spouse, This is a very comfortable place to see a movie. If you’re going to spend the money to go out to see a movie you may as well be comfortable. It is worth the extra cost.
