Quite a quirky, cute little pub, perhaps a little cramped on the inside, which, as its name suggests is behind the Orchard Theatre in Dartford town centre. It really does look impressive from the outside and has an amazing big balcony running all the way around the front.
On the inside — quite striking décor with a theatre type theme running through the establishment — lots of showbiz style autographed photos and posters of celebrities on the walls, quite a lot of character, traditional furniture. There is a beer garden at the back for drinking in the Summer months.
I found the service to be very friendly and a nice quietish place to enjoy a drink before or after the show — or at any time! Prices about average for the area, but this place is a lot nicer than most of the pubs in Dartford town centre.
