Went for afternoon tea at nono8 bar and it was absolutly terrible!!! The place could do with re vamp very tired looking stains on curtains and furniture shabby etc. This maybe due to it being used as a nightclub aswel as lunch times. The waiter was very untidy trousers falling down dirty shirt and grubby hands, but very polite. We ordered our afternoon tea choice of sandwiches tea or coffee. Coffee came it was luke warm and like treacle, then the sandwiches arrived on a plate and the so called pastries and cakes were brought on a cake stand!!! What a joke the selection of cakes consisted of Chocolate chip cake which looked plastic pink wafer biscuits(which i thought they only given to children at parties!!) and a stale scone with some sort of cream !! The sanwiches came crustless and were cut into stripes the smell of them was like smelling a tub of cheap margarine. This should of cost £24 it was terrible thank god for groupon and we paid £9 but that was far to much! In the end we walked out it was terrible will never visit this place again we were the only two in there and it was lunch time so that must tell you something avoid!!!

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Derby, United Kingdom
This new late night bar is certainly making an impression. Interior is very trendy and fashionable and upmarket. The owner used to run two award winning bars in Liverpool namely The Living Room and The Newz Bar — apparently famous for footballer/wag and other D list celebrity spotting. This followed through on opening night in Derby where Hollyoaks/Emmerdale and Shameless stars appeared alongside D list celebrity Jodie Marsh. Luckily I wasn’t there that night. Whether this sort of celebrity spotting will continue in Derby, I seriously doubt it. However, the bar itself is certainly worth a visit. Drink prices are ok — not too expensive and service was exceptional. Music was 70’s and 80’s funk. My friends and I accidentally somehow got into the VIP area where we were waited on at the table. Much nicer than having to queue up at the busy bar! We were there about 9pm on a Friday night so perhaps it wasn’t too busy then and they didn’t mind the fact that we just strolled right into the VIP area and grabbed a table. Crowd was fairly mixed but generally people were older. nono8 also apparently includes a restaurant however, I couldn’t see where that was. There is also un upstairs area which includes more lounges and booths.
