Noodle Sushi Bar

I was delighted to discover that there was a Sushi Bar in Derry!
The surroundings are plain and simple but the food is always freshly prepared and beautifully presented. I have eaten here regularly over the last year. I have never been disappointed. Their early evening «early bird» menu is a particular bargain.
If like me you enjoy sushi then I think you will find the selection here authentic. It has all the usual components — aburage, seaweed rolls, pickled ginger and wasabi and a choice of sashimi, smoked fish or vegetable sushi. If your friends are doubtful about raw fish and seaweed — bring them along because there are plenty of delicious Thai and Japanese curry, noodle and broth dishes on the menu.
So while you enjoy your sushi your friends can have Pad Thai Noodles or something equally tasty and if they sample a piece or two of your sushi perhaps it will convince them that sushi is not so weird.
I have enjoyed the sushi on my own many times and on several occasions I have brought groups of friends. For the sushi-​lovers it was a great discovery and even the most sushi-​sceptical members of each party have found dishes with which they delighted.
This is undoubtedly my current favourite restaurant in Derry.
