Everything you would want and expect from a small town theatre. The listings are consistently strong and offer something for everyone. It contributes a stack to the community, the acid test for me being that my kids love going there and have plenty of good events to see and participate in. The downsides are usually the fault of the local council who choose to lower budgets and implement evening parking charges. Though on Monday nights the cinema is £3.50 and usually has the latest releases(as long as they appeal to Surrey stockbroker belt demographic.)

What a great resource to have I’m Dorking! Cheap cinema tickets on a Monday and really good Christmas pantos every year.

Cinema and theatre, with a very helpful and friendly front desk(which I think also doubles as tourist information). The cinema was recently refurbished, and it’s comfortable and clean. You can take a beer in with you from the bar, which is very civilised. The theatre shows a decent range of productions, and hosts the Leith Hill music festival each year.
