We arrived with high hopes after our previously enjoyable visits. We informed them of our booking only to find that there was no booking in our name dispite our receipe of their confirmation yext. After our 40min wait for our starters we were greeted with a cold and uncooked camenbert which was sent back. On its second arival the small portion of bread which accompanied it led to a tremendous waste of the cheese. After a further wait for our mains having seen many come and go before us they arrived and although no faults were seen in the cooking the taste did not warrant the total of a 1hour wait. Overall the meal out was very lackluster and lost our faith in the pub and we will not be returning any time soon. After all of that we decided to give them a chance at redemption and after a short 10min wait we found that they were out of cheese cake during the dinner rush, this is not acceptable for a pub trying to go more upmarket and was a sad and dissapointing end to the evening out.

Sunday afternoon roaming the back streets of the southern midlands aching for a Sunday roast and this vision appeared before us. Although late in the day the place was heaving and they found a table for us with two nice armchairs. The interior is very inviting and the staff helpful and polite although flat out when we were there. Menu is standard Sunday roast with a couple of nice touches — a platter for one or two with a selection of three roast meats and a pig in a blanket(done! mine!) and a rib roast for two. The roast veg comes on a side platter with more than enough for two with parsnip, baby carrots, roast spuds and some cabbage stuff– golden! Add some cauliflower cheese, a pint of what you fancy and it is Sunday roast heaven! At £30 for two on the pricey side but well worth it. Recommended.

Just came back from the Robin Hood — what can I say but wow! The menu has such a varied selection it inspired me to choose some less usual dishes to test my palette! Today I had Trio of Seared Scallops with Beetroot & Spinach Risotto which was absolutely delicious. I have seen some risotto’s in other restaurants that didn’t look that nicely done but this one was perfect! Then for Main Course I chose the Venison Steaks — the flavours combined with the excellent gravy were amazing! Topped off with two different Award Winning Ales and it was a night of dining to remember! A must to visit!!!

Part of a chain but don’t let that put you off. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is good quality, well prepared and produced quickly from what must be a very busy kitchen. Prices are very competitive and portions are generous. Access for my disabled God mother is a little tricky(up a slope from the car park) but she always seems to manage when I offer to buy her lunch! A good, reliable stop if you happen to be in the Droitwich area.

This has to be the best place for good value honest food that never fails to deliver to the highest standard. The menu is simple and the desserts are great and there is normally as seasonal option. There is a garden to the side that is great to sit in in the summer and the open fire when lit is the winter makes winter night that little better.

It is a lovely little pub with gardens to sit in on a summers day. It is not very child friendly, no play area, so not the best place to go if your taking the kids. The prices are reasonable, a little more expensive but the relaxing atmosphere makes up for it.
