Tesco Stores

One of the best things about where I work is the Tesco opposite. It’s a large one with a costa, a Timpsons and a full range of clothes, home items and electricals. I think there is even a hairdresser and nail lady! I’m pretty sure you could live there & never have to leave!
I wouldn’t do my weekly shop there as I’m sure I’d spend a fortune as the range of items is so large!
The beauty section is the largest I’ve seen in a supermarket and is set out like you are in Boots and has a great range. The healthy living section also has a large range of vitamins & healthy treats. I expect they trial a lot of new lines in this store as I have been lucky in the past to get end of lines highly reduced.
There is a massive car park and it’s handy for bus to Bham and Dudley /​Wolves but a good 20 min walk to nearest train station. There s a cash point outside and a car wash.
Would highly recommend it if you ever need to seek out more unusual food /​home items.

As Tesco goes, this one is huge. I was impressed with the beauty section of this store, but other than that, I’m glad it’s not my local supermarket.
Our main reason for stopping at this Tesco was to grab something to eat. I’ve eaten in a lot of Tesco cafes, but this one was appalling. Food quality aside, the service was disgusting. Clearly the women hired to run this café had never heard of «service with a smile». Couldn’t get out of there quick enough.
Sorry Tesco.

WOW! This was, by far, the COOLEST Tesco I’ve ever been to. It was absolutely gargantuan. It felt like a cross between IKEA and Costco in size! Not to mention how beautiful is the outside the building?
There is a huge underground, and above ground, parking facility. Parking was very easy to navigate. They offer car washes while you shop.
Inside there is a full sized café offering hot food and coffee/​tea. I chose the BLT on baguette which wasn’t very good, honestly. Stick to the hot food instead.
Definitely go with a list. There’s just so much to purchase it’s almost unreal! Tesco still has unbeatable prices, but this place is so big it’s almost overwhelming.

Tesco Extra Cradley Heath Watch out for this store as it over charges you the prices are never correct instore as you have to go to customer services for you money back. also watch out and i mean watch out this store sell out of date products as i have picked up many out of dates and when i have got to the car i have had to go back and this is what they say what do you excpect in a store this size i do not think that is very exceptable. and some times you can not get what you are after as it always out of stock staff are not so friendley as a competitor store which i have taken my shopping elese where

This Tescos is this year about to be expanded with many more parking spaces and a much larger store.
The store right now has a café, lotto ect however the store itself gets very busy as they aisles are not very wide and often they sell out of things on the counters/​bakery and do not fill up quick enough.
The café is really bad now an independant contracter has took control of it.
Other than that there are quite a few tills and self scan checkouts meaning you get served quite quickly.

I really enjoy doing my weekly shop at Tesco’s however i find it rather difficult to get everything from this branch. The shelves are not always stocked well so be prepared to ask someone to get things from out of the warehouse! The aisles are crowded with home shoppers which block the shelves with their large trucks whilst they are talking to each other. Staff are mostly really helpful. They have good offers and if things are in stock they have a wide selection. This store has a pharmacy, lottery, café, clothing section and hot chicken counter (they sell out fast on a weekend and they don’t cook any more after). The queuing system for lottery, cigarettes and customer services is not good. Try Cradley much better store with larger selection, more departments and good stock levels.
