A little dissapointed .
Waited an hour for someone to let us in when we arrived, having confirmed the day before what time we would be there, although the girl who let us in was very apologetic and very friendly.
We had booked a month or so in advance and were quoted £50/​room as we were told it was out of season, but on departure were charged £60/​room despite protest — felt very cheated especially as im fairly sure it was the owner that both took our booking and dealt with our departure. So just get costings confirmed in writing if your going here.
Overall the impression was that it was a little scruffy and disorganised– didn’t feel anywhere as welcoming, clean or professional as the other places we stayed during our trip. While waiting to get in i checked out some other b&bs — the Waterbury 4⁄5 doors up, seemed very helpful, friendly, and on first impressions much cleaner/​tidier, and i think they were cheaper.
Good breakfast! and nice print in the dining room!
