The Mouth

We went here for my birthday .with our two girls aged 11 and 2, my fiancé. we got in and sat down found it was cold, told that our 2 yr old was free no charge and 11 yr old £7.50. so ordered starters they were ok, very hot and satay was abit tough though. Then had main, egg fried rice was cold and chicken balls was very full of batter and greasy. The duck seemed just warm and no taste at all. asked for bottled beer and got a beer in glass, no bottle to be seen? coke was flat, more ice than coke toliets were not too clean either! Never got a dessert with candle in, with gift as someone pointed out that you get this. Even another girl had a birthday and never got nothing, not even a song for us??? They seemed too more on there regulars and not enough attention on other customers.!! Yet everyone is still paying the same? I think this place needs more manners in the manager and more staff to help out serving. Then they won’t be too flustured. 2012.

There’s always a warm welcome at the Mouth. Their speciality is eat as much as you like. However, this is all cooked to order, so the food is always fresh.
On the debit side, some of the waiting staff aren’t that sharp.

this is my all time favourite chinese restaurant i have never had a dissapointing visit here. they do great value for money on there sit down buffet menue where you can eat as much as you want off there menu till your stuffed sensless. the staff are so pleasant and friendly are always happy to help with discions or choosing what to order. they are great for partys too as they provide a ballon and if u dont bring a cake they will provide a desert for everyone with a candle in and always give the birthday person a gift which is a really nice touch i think.

A group of friends and I had our christmas get-​together at The Mouth last year. The family there are very understanding as we were very noisy and quite risqué. We had a fabulous time and the food and wine just kept coming each dish better than the next. We epecially loved the mongolian lamb which was very scrummy. Great value for money.
