located in the Gates Shopping Centre, poundland has something for everybody!
They have a very wide selection of ever changing product lines. If you see something you want, buy it then as it might be gone when you go back!
they stock everything from shampoo, cleaning products, cards, household items, pet food, crisps, sweets to books, DVDs and computer accessories.
Most things are worth £1, but beware they are selling some items that can be found cheaper at Home Bargains.
it’s worth having a good look because as they have so much stock it’s easy to miss something. At the minute they have christmas stock in, and some of it is really nice!

people are not that friendly very miserable in fact but sometimes you can get a good bargain in there, but not everything is a good deal, worth looking around. Generally the health products are a good deal.
Its always really busy in there so be prepared to queue up for a bit and get miserable people serving you at the same time. However it is worth going in there as some stuff is really good value for money!
