First off, I want to state that the Unilocal map is wrong for the location of this salon. It is actually located in Durham City Centre in the Prince Bishop Shopping area.
Second, I want to say that if we could give half stars Toni & Guy would actually get a 4.5 from me.
So, I had been putting off getting my hair cut for a very long time. Like over a year long. Walking by Toni & Guy today I decided it was time. I made an appointment for the same day and had a 5-​minute consult with a stylist when I first came in. Came back a few hours later for my appointment.
For the record, Joanne is a really great stylist. I have very difficult hair: thick, long, very wavy and just fussy. She managed it with no problems. She listened to what I wanted and my cut turned out even better than I had hoped (which never happens with my hair). On the down side it was a fairly spendy cut (36 quid plus tip), but Im a firm believer that a good haircut is like a good pair of jeans: well worth it.
