East Fortune Race Circuit

East Fortune is a rather nice, fast race circuit in East Lothian. Smaller in distance than other local circuits like Knockhill, and with less amenities, but there is always a large turnout of racers.
The one thing that is rather frustrating is being trapped into the circuit if you cross over into the paddock area with a vehicle. Or if you are a spectator, only being able to enter and exit between races. The toilets are pretty clean and there is one burger van, so kiss your options goodbye if you are vegetarian. Prices are reasonable.
It’s a pleasant day out if you enjoy watching motorsports. I really attend to watch sidecar racing, which on the occasions I have gone, also provide taxi rides (‘Be A Passenger Day’) so you can experience what it is like to be on the back of one (if you want to know, insanely terrifying and exhilarating at the same time), so long as you can beg or borrow a set of leathers, of course. Try it, if you dare.
