Used Taylors a couple of times when up on a Railway day out. Very acceptable food and plenty of it. This place does well against some serious competition locally. There are other ‘chippers’ in the area.

Excellent it’s your usual English fish and chip shop so don’t expect anything special other then the owners. Service is quick and portions are a little bit to much but really good value for money.

I want one of everything here, the chips are just right and the staff are always friendly and efficient. There is something about fish and chips on a rainy afternoon that just makes you glad to be alive. Being Scottish I yearn for things like deep fried haggis and black pudding, I just hope someone there is reading this.

To be honest Fish & Chips is not one of my favourite meals. Sorry. BUT the fish from here is superb. It is not a case of a lump of batter & hunt the fish. The batter is light & tasty and the most enormous piece of really good fish. The chips are freshly cooked & real potato ! The portions are huge so share your chips.
The other food looks just as appetising but I haven’t tried anything else as I am hooked on their Fish & Chips.
The service is always swift & friendly. Highly recommended.
