Very good pub restaurant with full table service. A very good menu served to a very high standard. Nice setting overlooking the Mersey and Liverpool. A nice outdoor beer garden and playground for kids

The Eastham Ferry Hotel is nestled neatly between the beautiful surroundings of Eastham Country Park and the River Mersey, so you can enjoy the stunning panoramic views over a glass of wine or pint. This is the perfect place to start or finish your exploration of the country park. The pub is family friendly and has a menu that accommodates for most tastes and the meals are two for one. It is well worth the money as the food is good, and, I believe, cooked fresh. We always stop here when we pop over for a trip to the park. There is plenty of seating as the pub is split into different areas and the beer garden is lovely on a nice day and offers lots of space for children to play while you relax. The exterior is well kept and suits its location perfectly; it has a seamless mix of old world charm and clean, chic design. People taking a jog or stroll on Otterspool promenade may have spotted the grand white façade of the pub over the water. The staff are always welcoming and the service is delivered to a high standard.

this place used to be so nice to eat, but something terrible has happend in the kitchen of late and the past 2 times we have been as a family we have not been happy with our meals, dirty dried up carrots on my 5year olds plate does not constitute«crunchy carrot sticks» burnt to a crisp garlic bread wasnt even on the menu, buts thats what we were served!!! And how the waitress who served this to us didnt even see it is beyond me! i like the pub and the beer garden but thats about it until they sort the kitchen out i wouldnt recommend eating here.

Tucked between the woods and the water, this little pub is a treasure. It’s got all the old world flavour and delicious, home cooked food. These pies didn’t come from a frozen Asda box, if you know what I mean. It’s also a convenient place to eat out after enjoying the nearby Eastham Country Park. I’ve eaten here twice now, and it’s been a delight both times. The staff are extremely friendly and talkative(but not overbearing), and the pub itself is so pretty. It was built in the mid 1800’s and is situated on the edge of the Mersey River, offering beautiful views. The interior is well decorated and clean. There is ample seating in several rooms, but I always prefer the booths and window seats so I can enjoy the views inside and outside while I eat. The pub is kid-friendly, and meals are two-for-one. There is even a function room upstairs that you can reserve for parties.

cheap nice food, great staff, close to the water with great views of the waterfront and old ferry pier. greta place for a sunnt afternoon i think its gone right down hill though since they got rid of the famous beer garden with the most impressive kids play area for miles around

Eastham Ferry, a place with great history, is one of the hidden gems of the Wirral. Situated at the end of a pleasant drive along the Manchester Ship Canal in Eastham Village on the outskirts of Eastham Wood, part of the Mersey forest, it is an ideal place to stay for a while and enjoy the panoramic views across the Mersey into the heart of Liverpool. Good food under the most recent management teams and the latest ones are no different. Good food, if a tad on the premium for the view in terms of cost, loads of specials. Has a good enclosed place for kids(mainly grassy area with climbing frame) to play and relax in the warmer weathers. Part of the 241 chain.
