Okay, this place is a bit of a dive in my opinion. A place one would go to for cheap beer, tacky sports television viewing and not the place for the most scintillating of conversations. But. the breakfasts are pretty good. and CHEAP Husband & I go periodically on a weekend, for breakfast. It’s a bog standard«Full English» — but the booths are relatively comfortable, the waitresses have been quite friendly & pleasant, and the meals are cheap. Occassionally when there’s a sporting event of some significant importance that it requires people leave their homes, which already have a TV, to haunt these hallowed halls of cheap beer & very little parking, the booths & tables can fill up pretty fast. I haven’t eaten any of the other meals at Litten Tree, but I’m sure if the breakfast is anything to go by, they are perfectly adequate. I’d recommend the place as they don’t hassle you to leave, the staff are reasonably pleasant and the breakfast is cheap.

This pub was walkable from our old flat. I tried this pub on many occasions and never really warmed to it. During the day if you go for food dont expect there to be a fabulous cuisine. In fact the food left something to be desired the past two times I ate there. Granted the food is inexpensive but quality and quantity is lacking. The floors are sticky, the pub smells a bit off. It could do with a refit. Many times the toilets have been out of action downstairs and have to trudge upstairs. In the evenings the music is too loud so you cant have a conversation, there are huge queues at the bar. A very unsatisfying pub in many ways. It gets two stars as it has a good choice of alcoholic beverages, is in a convenient location and should you wish to subject your friends to it there is the option to hire the upstairs bar.

been redecorated so much nicer to look at! foods good at reasonable prices, and there is loads to choose from. I can only speak from a food perspective Ive never been and used it as a pub facility so no idea about the nightlife. My only complaints would be to do with the loos which can be a tad wiffy, and I have had an issue with the staff and their id policies before.

Once, while a freshman at my junior school– wide eyed and timid upon making the transition from baby to young human– I arrived of a morning to see a child with long white strands appearing to grow from its face. not only that, very quickly i realised that this child was one of many. i began to feel outnumbered. i thought that these children must have been suffering some horrible skin affliction. I assumed that this was just the world i had entered. Somewhat disturbed, i attempted to accept this new world and in fact never mentioned this phenomena to pupil, teacher or parent. It was only when I had grown enough, that I was able to deduce that these children were wearing glued on whiskers for what must have been a school play. The first time I entered The Litten Tree I felt exactly the same way. Except to this day i have no idea what was going on with the customers inside that day.
