Tara Mahal

I’m a huge, huge, massive fan of this place. When it turned up in Ebbw Vale many moons ago they said; it would never work, mark my words this is no place for an Indian! and boy were they wrong!
Seen’s as its the only real restaurant in this one horse town the Tara Mahal does a roaring trade even through the week.
The food and service are second to none and the place its self is unbelievably clean and tidy.
The boys who work the are super pleasant and always up for a bit of light hearted banter.
There’s an English option on the menu for you boring mother… you know! and a kiddies choice to.
Prices are average… again the drinks will bump the bill up but its so worth it because you’ll have such a lovely time.
Now, i’m a wimp on the curry front so i always have the chicken Korma but seriously i have dreams about the creamy curry for days after.
There is a take away option but no delivery service and to be totally honest the food isn’t as top speck as it would be if you were eating in.
This place although off the beaten track is so worth a visit!
