Amazing European, American, Local beers! Newly refurbed so more seating. Great place to come whatever day of the week.
More new guest beers. Outside seating. Dogs more than welcome. Worth a visit to say hi to the lovely local regular called Ernie! :)

Maltdog is truly a hidden gem. Not only is it a cute little bar, it also sells a variety of beers to take away.
Located in Monton it’s about a 20 minute walk from Eccles Metrolink stop.
And if, like me, you love Gernan beer it’s a great place to visit. It has Weihenstephan Weissbier as well as a nice Paulaner pilsner on draught. There are also three pumps featuring British ales (plus a wall of pump clips) but I had eyes for nothing but Weihenstephan!
It’s quite a small place but has an upstairs and outdoor seating so there is plenty of room and it is quite pricey but worth it for the lovely German beer.
