Quick and efficient service without frills. It’s in no way a spa style salon and you won’t get offered tea or water but they are so quick that it doesn’t matter. You can make appointments but they usually will squeeze you in if you go in so I never bother. It’s cheaper than other city centre places and only £25 for a pedicure including a scrub, file and polish, and £10 for a nail file and polish. They have a really good selection of colours including shellac colours. They don’t take cards but there is a cash point 2 minutes away at Scotmid.

As I had a wedding then I had decided I wanted my nails done. Walking into town one day, I had noticed this little salon and thought I’d give it a go. I have pretty ok nails so I only paint them sometimes. Plus when I do it myself, it has an air of ‘five year old at mum’s makeup box’ so with it being a wedding, I decided to go for a tidy up and nude nails so there were no colour clashes with my colourful wedding outfit. I had a mini manicure — nails soaked in water, cuticles sorted, file, buff and polish. I really liked my nails and as they were shiny and healthy looking, I received a few comments on them. I would pop in here again and may even make it a regular treat. I was £10 for my little treatment and it would be good to keep my nails looking healthy so well worth popping in.
