Babylon Takeaway — yet another takeaway place in Edinburgh. It is not that there is anything particularly wrong with Babylon Takeaway, but there is nothing about it which makes you want to eat here.
Situated in the Tollcross area of Edinburgh, Babylon Takeaway is just a short walk away from the city centre so it is a handy place to reach.
Babylon sells you standard takeaway foods such as fish and chips, pizzas, kebabs and baked potatoes. I ordered a burger from Babylon several months ago which was tasty and well cooked, but there wasn’t much in the way of salad in the bun. The meal came with chips were good, if a bit greasy, and the whole thing came to about four pounds which is a pretty good deal.
Babylon also do a home delivery service which is convenient. However, there was nothing about the food or service which made the experience stand out for me, so I won’t make a point of going back.
