This modern bar feels a little out of place among the other drinking establishments nearby. It tried to be trendy but doesn’t quite seem to hit the mark with the local drinkers and so tends not to be very busy. There are sometimes decent promotions on and the lunchtime menu is quite good, although it can take a long time to be served. The atmosphere is a bit lacking and the DJ would perhaps do better in a city centre venue. It would not be my first choice for mid-​week drinks but it does get a bit livelier at weekends.
