Don’t be deceived by the(almost) dark and grim exterior as upon entering you’ll see a good blend of warm colors tables and chairs and the obligatory flat screen TV’s. The bar has a good selection if drinks including some not found locally elsewhere. The prices are very good, and so is the service.

Broadfields, or Broadies as it is affectionately known by most of its customers is a great bistro bar that has an extensive Thai menu inside, and the eating area can be found upstairs. I have not actually tried any of the food that is served here, but the prices seemed reasonably and the food smelled delicious, so I would certainly not be adverse to the idea in the future. The clientèle that use the pub are generally pretty young, with most being in their 20’s and 30’s, whilst the older folk in the area tend to go to Scotties(another pub), which is literally 30 seconds from Broadfields. Inside the bar and the décor is pretty modern with wooden tables and chairs and wooden flooring, the overall appearance being pretty stylish. They have a good range of TVs that ensure that no matter where you are, the sport will be in view. There are also a few quiz machines that can keep you entertained in there too.
