Corbie Takeaway

We were on our way for sunset jaunt to Cramond Beach and we called in to get some traditional greasy food on the way!
The shop is quite modern and new, all lit up and visible from the road. We didn’t have to wait long to be served despite a bit of a queue. There is plenty of selection! All your usual fish and chip shop favourites, plus deep fried pizza, deep fried steak pie, deep fried BBQ ribs… you get the idea!
They also have an Indian and Pizza bar, which looked pretty tasty! The staff were friendly and happy if not slightly bemused to answer my questions.
The food was delicious although mine was a little on the soggy side… perhaps just a bit too much vinegar! The battered sausages were amazing, not as much batter as you’d usually get, but tasted great!
The price was very reasonable for the amount of food, and they take card.
Behind the counter they had a full drinks fridge, ice creams, chocolate bars and even paracetamol!
A great wee place and I’ll definitely be going back when I’m next in the area :)
There is no seating area, it is just a take away place but still worth a visit!
