I’m surprised to read so many negative reviews. I have only had dealings with the Gorgie Road branch and have always found the staff there particularly friendly and helpful. Maintenance is carried out promptly and efficiently and you are never left alone with a problem. A leak in our bathroom floor was repaired yesterday in a super-​efficient manner with no time wasted or mess made. We have lived in a JVR property for 3 years now and have had no cause for complaint.

i should like to place my appreciation of teh work put in by louise in advising me and finding a tenant for my property. i approached a number of letting agents before deciding on jvr and it was her professionaly yet friendly manner together with your clear pricing structure, which was ably explained to me, which persuaded me to use your firm.
while i hope for a long term with the new tenants i will undoubtedly return to you should they move on

I almost rented a place from the JVR Properties. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they will assist you with everything you need and answer all your questions. Unfortunately there was some problem with the dates of rental and I wasn’t able to move in the flat. Overall the JVR seems to be very good though, they don’t charge you for checking references and all the paperwork, which is very unusual and the rental prices seems very good.
