Thought I’d reviewed LK Bennett before but clearly not!
Firstly, the clothes and shoes here are fab but very expensive. This is grown up shopping with prices to match, but if you are looking for a seriously kick ass dress for that crucial job interview then you have to come here.
I don’t shop in here often due to the prices, but they do have decent sales and anything you buy will earn its cost per wear ratio.
Last time, it was the killer interview dress and jacket — yep, it worked and was worth the credit card bill that followed.
This time it was shoes for a wedding — in the sale and perfect for what I was looking for. I cheated and bought a bag elsewhere as the bag I wanted was £180 full price here and I can’t justify that,
Staff though are lovely. I spotted my shoes yesterday and was unsure so the assistant popped them on hold for a day (eg I returned 24hrs later!) to get them. I just needed the extra time to rule out shoes I’d seen in other stores and be sure they’d be perfect with my dress.
So, I love LKB and if my salary justified it, I’d be there more often. Always worth a look, it may well be that a sale item here is a much better buy than elsewhere!

LK Bennett is a mark of quality and you won’t have any problems with shoes falling apart here. They are, however, quite pricey but such is the price you pay for quality and shoes that are a little bit different to the run of the mill types seen everywhere. They often have sales on where you can find as much as 50% off these babies!
I think shoes are one of those things you really do have to pay a little bit extra for as you can tell a cheap pair of shoes just by looking at them. Plus, you want something of a reasonable quality too.

LK Bennet’s shoes and handbags are simply stunning. Stunning, but sadly for us skint student types, expensive.
I actually went in here hoping to find a bit of a bargain in the summer sale, but it turns out that ‘sale’ prices in here are actually more expensive than I would usually pay full price. I was looking at a lovely pair of flat leather sandals for my holidays, and at sale price, they were still £75. I actually saw a pair incredibly similar in Primark of all places later in the day for £8! Take a guess at which ones I bought?

L K Bennett is a ladieswear shop specialising in formal wear and shoes. It is on George Street and is in an amazing building. Its a lovely store to browse around and it feels light and airy. They have some beautiful dresses and shoes but prices are really quite expensive. Staff are friendly and helpful if you need advice.
