Leith Ex Servicemans Club

i recieved an invite to a party n i have very young children who were also invited. I was told my children were more than welcome and there was no curfew time as long as the children were taken care of. on approach to the place it looked like a normal house n once inside we were greeted by a man who asked us to sign in. i thought this was good coz if there was any trouble then people could be held accountable. we got settled downstairs in what looked a big enough n well decorated hall. gd so far. more guests arrived n the bar had not been opened downstair so i had to climb to flights to get a drink. once up there was a woman behind the bar serving no 1 so i placed my order n this is when it started to wrong. The woman totally ignored me even tho she’d seen me. another guest from our party then came up and placed an order @ which the lady promptly replied by giving her what she asked for. i was shocked but rationilsed she may av not heard me, so i asked again n then i got it.(i knew she had heard me in 1^st place) i had to put up with people having a giggle @ my expense. party got into full swing and i noticed the same lady popping in a door at the bottom n just staring at us looking very angry. later into the night i was on my way to toilet when she said when are the kids leaving? i replied i didnt know n i didnt realise that they had a time to go. this woman was never off my back all night i really felt like she was waititng on me to give me big 10 minute lectures. i spoke with the lady who threw party who explained the woman had changed from when she had paid and made aggreements with this owner. The woman had put on an atmoshphere throughout the whole night and made it a very unpleasant time. i got the feeling that she wanted the party to end early. The only positive to the night was the barman who told us not to worry about lady she was just making sure that things didnt get out of hand. prices also rised from upstair to downstair. i wouldnt go there again if i was paid to after my son told me she had been giving him a hard time to. wont go back n dont go there people. i was then informed by the lady who threw the party that the woman took her money n then changed all agreements it was ridiculous. this woman was not proffesional in the slightest she was even heard to have called sum1 a slag after an argument broke out.
